It is a month later, and I am finally posting..... We had a great Christmas! We spent a wonderful but busy two weeks in Baton Rouge. Cole and Kate were able to visit with all of their grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins! Cole loved opening all of the presents and Kate loved getting into all of Cole's new toys! We spent Christmas Eve day with my family opening gifts, eating, and attending the Christmas Eve service at
Zoar. Kate lasted about half of the service (with lots of goldfish) until Ryan wouldn't let her throw her
sippy cup across the aisle! After the service we had dinner with Ryan's family and a visiting pastor from Africa. After seeing what Santa Clause brought Christmas morning, we went to the
Metz house for present opening and Christmas lunch. After saying goodbye to Aunt Jill and Uncle D, we headed over to visit with both of my grandmothers that afternoon. While Ryan went back to work, the Cole, Kate, Mom, Dad, and I went to the lake the next week to relax (or freeze). The Lyman and Perkins families met us their to celebrate New Years Day! We finished off our two week holiday with Josh and Kayla's wedding (my next post)!

I love these pictures and it reminded me of what a great Christmas it was. I hope Cole and Kate are still enjoying their presents. I'm sure Cole is a master at that motorcycle by now.
